Fishing Jackson Lake

Jackson Lake is a prime spot for chasing hybrid striped bass and striped bass. These powerful fish love to roam the main lake channels and points, especially during the spring and fall. We'll often find them schooling up, making for some exciting surface action. For largemouth and spotted bass, we'll explore the numerous coves, laydowns, and rocky structures that dot the shoreline. These fish are active year-round, with spring and fall offering peak feeding opportunities, and summer providing opportunities for deeper water presentations. A charter trip out of Jackson Lake means you're in for a day of diverse fishing. We can focus on the aggressive hybrids and stripers, or spend time targeting the bass that call this lake home. Depending on the season, we might be casting topwater lures in the early morning, trolling deep-diving plugs in the afternoon, or working jigs and soft plastics around cover. It's a great lake for anglers of all skill levels, and I'm here to make sure you have a productive and enjoyable time on the water. When you book a fishing charter with me on Jackson Lake, you're getting a guide who understands the nuances of this fishery. From the thermocline in the summer to the baitfish migrations in the fall, I use that knowledge to put you on the fish. Whether you're after the brute strength of a hybrid or the cunning of a largemouth, Jackson Lake delivers.
